If you are looking for sex...

I saw this ad in Salamanca (Spain) last month. It's very interesting to see how people improve their abilities with ads to attract people's attention.

I transcribe the text here:

Joan Osborne - One of Us

I have just seen this girl, MarieDigby, singing One of Us by Joan Osbourne, and I really like it. I hope you´ll enjoy it as much as me.

Lyrics (thanks to Shir for the recommendation):

Joan Osborne - One Of Us

If God had a name what would it be?
And would you call it to his face?
If you were faced with Him in all His glory
What would you ask if you had just one question?

1-And yeah, yeah, God is great
Yeah, yeah, God is good
yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah

What if God was one of us?
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus
Tryin' to make his way home?

If God had a face what would it look like?
And would you want to see if, seeing meant
That you would have to believe in things like heaven
And in Jesus and the saints, and all the prophets?
(repeat 1, 1)

Back up to heaven all alone
No, nobody calling on the phone
No, just tryin' to make his way home
Nobody calling on the phone
'Cept for the Pope maybe in Rome

Beach Volley World Championship

From Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July some classification matches of the Women's Beach Volleyball World Championship were celebrated in Zurriola Beach (San Sebastian, Spain). 46 couples from all around the world took part. It was the only event of the FIVB World Championship that was held in Spain.

On Sunday the final match was celebrated, where the Dutch couple won. Here we can see a photo of the two girls getting the prize.

We can see that they are wearing the typical basque beret that is given to the winners.

Earth flag

I would like to start this blog with a curiosity. I don't know if all the people know about 'Earth Flag'. I must recognize that I didn't know anything about it. And it's a pity. 'Earth Flag' is maybe one of the few symbols that remind us that all people are humans, that all have to live in the same planet, and that all have to look after the planet's health.

Let's see what Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia, says about this flag:

"The Earth flag is a dark blue field charged with The Blue Marble, a famous NASA photo of the Earth as seen from outer space. It is not an official flag, since there is no official governing body over Earth. The flag has been associated with Earth Day, environmental awareness, and the celebration of the global community. Peace activist John McConnell created the first Earth flag in 1969 and it has been used since the first Earth Day in 1970."

"The Blue Marble is a famous photograph of the Earth taken on 7 December 1972 by the crew of the Apollo 17 spacecraft at a distance of about 45,000 kilometers or about 28,000 miles.[1] It is one of the most widely distributed photographic images in existence. The image is one of the few to show a fully lit Earth, as the astronauts had the Sun behind them when they took the image. To the astronauts, Earth had the appearance of a child's glass marble (hence the name)."

See Wikipedia. Earth Flag. The Blue Marble.

In my opinion, it's a good idea to know about this symbol. In this blog, we'll try to write about interestings things. We hope you'll enjoy reading our notes.

This is our presentation. This is our visit card. We are the 'Riders on the blog'.
